Latitude Geographics Group Ltd. is a Victoria, BC, Canada based Internet geography firm. We specialize in helping people use geographic information to make better decisions by helping our clients develop and deliver successful Internet mapping initiatives. Geocortex encompasses a suite of products and services that constitutes our strategy for communicating and visualizing geographic information over the Internet.

Over the last few years, Latitude Geographics has evolved into one of the leading North American Internet geography firms. Our success to date is due in large part to the commitment of my colleagues whose dedication, talent and enthusiasm have consistently exceeded the expectations of our clients. This company began just over four years ago with plenty of ideas, an unwavering dedication to our clients, and startlingly few resources. We have built our client base one by one, project by project. We have grown without the assistance of venture capitalists- our business model centers around quality results and satisfied clients. In 2001, we were honored to be selected by the CYBF to represent British Columbia and present our technology to HRH Prince Charles during his royal visit.

In the second half of 2003, we are launching Geocortex Mapcaster-a free, powerful ArcIMS viewer service. We are also releasing our eagerly anticipated Geocortex Editing Suite. This IMF extension allows users to actually edit layers through ArcSDE. Not only can users securely edit polygons and perform intersections, unions, and subtractions, we also provide more advanced features such as snapping, COGO editing, and user workspaces with QA/QC controls.

While ESRI develops the core ArcIMS software, we are committed to being the very best at applying it in the real world. This commitment is reflected in the quality of our consulting, map hosting, application development, and add-on products.

So far, 2003 has held many exciting developments for us- continued growth, the release of new products and services, and our expansion to the United States (our Mobile, Alabama office opened in early June 2003). We look forward to continuing to serve our present clients and to developing lasting business relationships with new organizations and individuals.
