Our mission is to ensure our clients are successful. About half our clients implement our out-of-the-box products independently, while the other half choose to enlist the assistance of our expert team or a qualified partner. We provide a range of web-based GIS related services, and we have a legion of references who can attest to the quality of our services. If you have a project in mind, get in touch. We'd be happy to discuss your specific needs.
Some of the services we (or depending on your location, one of our partners) offer are:
Business Analysis/Needs Assessment
While every client is unique, key aspects of our past experience are almost always transferable.
Our proven approach has been developed through the creation of myriad Internet mapping applications for a broad range of organizations across North America. We will work with you to determine the most effective way to meet the needs of your organization, while meeting the requirements of your users.
In addition to establishing application parameters, we can provide insight to help you make an informed decision when purchasing hardware and/or software.
We work with you to translate your needs assessment results into a realistic, executable plan for web-based GIS.

Internet Cartography
Cartography has a profound effect on the effectiveness of a web-based mapping application. Achieved through often subtle design decisions, effective Internet cartography gets noticed.
Moreover, the Internet has forever altered the rules of cartography. Internet cartographers do not create traditional maps. They design rules for building efficient, conflict-free maps at any scale, at any geographic extent, in a way that will effectively visualize layers that could be displayed in myraid combinations. And since online geographic information is now being communicated to non-specialists, the need for clear, accessible cartographic representation is more important than ever before.

Custom Development & Programming
While we identify ourselves as a geography firm, we’re really an information technology company. Our staff is comprised largely of computer scientists and software engineers, and they build our software products and customize/implement various software products on behalf of our clients.
Our hourly rates may not be the lowest, but even price-sensitive clients recognize that our programmers are worth the cost. When comparing RFP bid submissions, our project development costs generally come in well below other firms offering custom ArcGIS/ArcIMS Server-related programming.
Our software products and custom client applications are a testament to our programming expertise.

Migration & Training
Our business model combines the advantages of rapid application development with the long-term benefits of in-house knowledge transfer.
We routinely work with clients to migrate their hosted, co-located, or development applications in-house. This requires that their staff have all of the skills need to maintain a high quality, near-zero downtime ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS installation.
We’ve trained clients all over North America, and our curriculum is effective because it is tailored to each client’s background and their organizational needs. While the scope of training depends on clients' pre-existing IT knowledge, we typically send one of our experienced Internet geographers to conduct two to five days of on-site training and implementation support. We also offer training at our training theatre located in beautiful Victoria, BC.

Outsourced Deployment
We offer a number of unique hosting and co-location services that can vastly simplify web-based GIS deployment.
